Observations on American Halls

Ok, not a complaint this time (sort of).

Unlike Singapore Halls that makes the artificial and retarded distinction of guys on on floor, girls on another, American Halls actually mixes the guys and girls on every floor. In fact, the trend seems to be alternating guy-girl-guy-girl for each adjacent room. (Note: apparently the names of the students living in the room is written outside, so that's how I figured it out). This system makes sense. Encourages good interaction between the sexes, and makes it less like a fucking prison camp. Toilets are still separated though, but technically they don't have to be too. Some countries have mixed sex toilets... besides the showers here are in proper cubicles.

One question though, how come guys and girls can't share same room? Maybe the Europeans do that... hahaha someone should go EU and see whether it's true? For the record, Americans aren't that liberally as most Asians would condemn them to be. I read some survey/study before, and Americans are considered average/middle on the global scale. The most liberal ones are in EU...
