Arnold

Was reading about Arnold on Wikipedia, afterall he is the Governor of California, and LA is part of California.

Something caught my eye:
"Schwarzenegger does not accept his governor's salary of $175,000 per year.^[52] Instead, he donates it to charities."

Now how many Ministers or MPs in Singapore do that? Erm... none?

Now of course, you can give me the shit that he was a movie star, he's rich, etc...
But then most of our MPs are doctors and lawyers, and we know how insanely much they earn...

Ok for comparison sake let's do some analysis of Arnold:
"...so his fortune is actually estimated anywhere in between USD $800 – $900 million."

Alright, so he's fucking rich. His salary is peanuts. Fine. Let's not drag the "small fish" MPs into the argument. Let's talk about the big fish who owns (directly or indirectly doesn't matter) Temasek Holdings that is valued at US$110 billion. That big fish still asks for salary increases.
