After a few days, here's what I concluded: Americans like to do stuff last minute. Hey guess what? Most Singaporeans will be at home here.
Let's see
1) Almost all the shops in UCLA campus are still closed, excuse being school haven't started. Hello, don't you all have a Week 0???
2) My hall is still sparsely populated as of now. My roomate has not arrived.
3) My meeting with the SRP (Student Research Project) counselor said it would not be too late to start looking for a SRP supervisor. In fact, I am considered on time or slightly early. WTF!!! In Singapore, you look for a UROPS supervisor after your semesters end, not before the next semester!!!
