Apartments, Halls, Fraternities/Sororities

Ok, some terminology guideline for you guys. Comparison between Singapore and American terms.

Singapore

Apartment (e.g. PGP): A residence in which social activity is limited. Not much fucking or mass orgies.

Hall (e.g. Raffles Hall): A residence in which more social activities are involved. Fucking is common. Maybe mass orgies.

America

Apartment: Same as Singapore

Hall: Not the same as Singapore. Probably similar, but fucking is not that common (at least on my floor).

Fraternity/Sorority: It is equivalent to a Singapore Hall, but the fucking scale is much higher. Here, people get drunk and fuck around.

The Irony

A fraternity refers to an all-male organization. A sorority refers to an all-female organization. Do you guys follow? If both fraternities & sororities are dedicated to get drunk and having sex, why the fuck do they segregate them sexually? Ok fine, they do meet up frequently for the frequent fucks... but why? Also note that fraternities/sororities have their own apartments/residences, so basically everyone in that accommodation is of the same sex!!! WTF!!!

You know even the floors on the Halls are co-ed, so I really dun see the logical of fraternities and sororities when they are supposed to be more sexually liberal. Perhaps the absence of the other gender makes em more horny?

I didn't join any fraternity FYI. The idea of being around with just guys is disgusting.
