The HP UMPC reportedly has a release date in May 2008. Unfortunately it is too expensive (US$400-600) and uses HDD. Stupid HP as usual...
The Acer UMPC reportedly has a release date in Apr 2008. Reportedly has HDD and SSD options, but similarly priced like the HP UMPC. I think that the SSD might command the higher price. Fuck...
ASUS Eee PC 2nd Gen is also launching in Apr 2008. Not too sure of the specifics.
I hope somebody comes up with a cheap SSD + Touchscreen... but I'm not all that optimistic.
Anyway, think I will pay S$600 max for a UMPC like the Eee PC (SSD but no touchscreen).
If there's touchscreen I think I am willing to fork out S$700 max.
