Was considering the Toshiba M700:
- 12.1" LED Backlit LCD at 1280x800 resolution with Multitouch
- Intel 2.1GHz, 3MB L2 (looks like a Penryn chip)
- 1GB RAM (1 slot occupeid)
- 80GB HDD
- Modular DVD+/-RW optical drive
- Single 6-cell battery rated at 5hr+ battery life on power saving mode, and 3hr+ battery life on high-performance mode. Sadly, the stupid reviewers forgot to mention screen brightness, which IMO is the most important factor in battery life.
- 3 Years Warranty
Cost only S$2600 after shipping and taxes, assuming through vPostUSA!!! I'm steaming... especially the screen. From a technical standpoint it is possibly the best Tablet PC screen - LED Backlight, High-Resolution and Multitouch all combined together!!! WOOTS!!!
Hmm... Called Toshiba, the warranty is supposedly international too!!!
